Job Description

Position: Tenure track Assistant Professor, Division of Kinesiology and Health, College of Health Sciences, University of Wyoming, beginning August 2012.

Responsibilities: SCHOLARSHIP Develop a research program that leads to nationally/internationally refereed publications and presentations; pursue and obtain funding for research (NB: supplemental start-up funding may be available for suitably qualified candidates through UW-INBRE); and direct graduate/undergraduate research projects. TEACHING Provide quality instruction in sport and exercise biomechanics at the undergraduate level and in graduate courses in the candidate s area of expertise. SERVICE Advise/mentor undergraduate and graduate students; provide service to the division, college, university, state, and profession.

Job Requirements

Requirements: Earned doctorate in human performance, kinesiology, or exercise science, with emphasis in biomechanics; evidence of research productivity; and evidence of university level teaching experience. Applicants are sought who would complement current departmental teaching and research strengths.
