Jobing Description
Provides support to Lenders of the assigned department in loan preparation, processing, closing and
maintenance. Customer interface with regard to loan processing, closing, and general customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Maintains a current knowledge and compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements.

Preparation of loan requests and review required loan documents with close attention to detail.
?
Request and coordinate loan documentation preparation.
?
Order documentation, such as title policies, flood certifications, lien search, appraisals, insurance, payoff,
participation certificate, etc. Alert Lenders to any concerns necessary to ensure security position.
?
Book and activate closed loans on bank systems.
?
Create and maintain loan files for organization and completeness. Audit loan files, maintaining tickler-
tracking system to ensure materiality and accurate financial information for necessary supporting
documentation is in file. Request updated information of expiring documentation.
?
Perform funds transfers between accounts, draws, wires, loan advances, process payments, etc.
?
Provide general customer service.
?
Process loan payoffs and prepare appropriate collateral releases.
?
Order and maintain office supplies to insure smooth operation of department.
?
Delivers quality of service as defined by department standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1-year prior bank or related experience required, however, no prior direct experience in Banking
Assistant activities required.
