Position Description
Job Summary:
This position is located in Anadarko's southwestern Wyoming region as a member of the Midstream field operations group.

Qualifications:
- Experience in oil and gas production facilities, preferred
- A basic understanding of oil and gas operations, and working knowledge of natural gas process equipment, preferred
- Effective communication skills
- Possess basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
- Ability to work in environmental conditions of summer heat, winter cold
- Must be able to work on-call as assigned.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for operation of field equipment, handling line spotting and well head issues, and assisting with maintenance of field compression and gather measurement information
- Conduct dew point testing, maintenance and monitoring of glycol dehydration systems
- Execute start up, shut down and operating procedures for compressors, dehydration units, electric motors, fans, pumps, instrumentation, valves and alarms
- Perform minor maintenance on compressors, engines, pumps, controls, piping and valves
- Pipeline pigging without interruption to normal gas and liquid flows
- Compile daily production reports including downtime, abnormal gas volumes, condensation and unaccountable losses
- Communicate with operations supervisors, field, plant and maintenance employees, clerical staff, producers, pumpers, landowners and contractors
- Perform or assist in performing construction and pipeline repairs and installation
- Operate and maintain natural gas and electric driven industrial motors
- Operate and maintain natural gas compressors
- Properly maintain and safely operate assigned work truck
- Perform good housekeeping duties as required in assigned work area
- Work in a safe manner adhering to all safety practices, procedures and policies
- Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with Anadarko's Core Values

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, required

Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience

Certifications/Licenses:
Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required

Relocation:
This position is not eligible for relocation

Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%

Work Schedule:
10-hour rotating day shift (8 on; 6 Off). Scheduled to be on-call on scheduled work days.
