Role Synopsis

At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for providing resolution of complex problems at the well site. This position is also responsible for maintaining internal and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism in order to maintain and grow the company s status as the recognized leader within the oil service industry.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

Under minimal supervision, provide resolution to a diverse scope and range of complex problems at the well site where analysis of data requires having a broad knowledge of the product line's tool(s) and/or services.

Work is evaluated upon completion to ensure objectives have been met by the Field Supervisor.

Act as a project leader and mentor junior field engineers.

Maintain frequent intra-organizational and external customer contacts with a high degree of professionalism.

Execute other related duties as assigned.

Conduct all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Basic Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience with mechanical principals.

Strong communication, inter-personal skills, and demonstrated excellent customer awareness.

Ability to relate to well site personnel at all levels and work within a team environment.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

Two year Technical Degree.

Demonstrated proficiency in the skill profile required for the delivery of assigned advanced Logging while Drilling services at the well site.

Successful completion of advanced technical training and assigned well site development programs.

Industry experience and product line training required.

Other Details

Relocation is not required; however, this position is 24 hour on-call with 100% travel within a designated region.
